Mental Health Access to Mental Health Care in 2015 • ‒ St. Croix County has nearly double the number of residents to mental health providers as compared to Wisconsin (St. Croix County – 1,011:1 vs. Wisconsin – 632:1) 2015 CHNA Survey • ‒ Identified mental health as top 5 health priority 2014 YRBS Saint Croix County Highlights • ‒ 23.6% of students felt so sad or hopeless almost every day for two weeks or more in a row that they stopped doing some usual activities. ‒ 13.1% of students seriously considered attempting suicide in the last 12 months. ‒ 9% of students made a plan about how they would attempt suicide in the last 12 months.
