Phase 1 of the steel work 100% of the work is complete Work site dismantled in July 2017 3
Temporary compensatory measures Fences will be installed over the next few weeks + The contract was just awarded in the past few days + The installation will be finished over the coming weeks 4
Management of planned work Comments from previous projects + Hammering noise + Work schedule + Dust from the work Planned mitigation measures + Soundproofing wrap over equipment that vibrates + Temporary acoustic panels / acoustic enclosures + Noise monitoring plan with the contractor + Ongoing optimization of work schedules (noisy work planned during the day) + Use of tools with noise reducers 5
Steel work 2017-2019 Work starting in December 2017 (between De Maisonneuve and Sainte-Catherine) Work starting during summer 2018 (between Tansley and De Maisonneuve) 6
Work – Pedestrians and Cyclists Sidewalk up to Longueuil will reopen soon Installation of a staircase to access the sidewalk + On De Maisonneuve, near the service station + Opening scheduled for spring 2018 + Directional signs for pedestrians + Closure of current sidewalk access Preliminary drawing of the stairs on De Maisonneuve + Pedestrian tunnel under the bridge will continue to be closed Redevelopment of the cyclist access to the bridge + Creation of a single cyclist access point at the intersection of Dorion and Confiseurs in spring/summer 2018 + Vegetation will be planted at the closed access points 7
Work – Pedestrians and Cyclists Work affecting pedestrian and cyclist traffic + Some work will lead to partial closures of the multipurpose path and complete closures of the sidewalk - Replacement of guardrails – winter 2017 to summer 2018 - Painting and steel work in various sections – fall 2017 to winter 2021 - Installation of ducts and fibre optics – spring 2018 to summer 2019 + Goal to maintain bicycle and pedestrian path open during the day - Optimize night closures + Pilot project to keep the multipurpose path open this winter - Sidewalk and multipurpose path closed 8
Development work Levelling and paving of the deck and approaches + Planned completion in 2019 Creation of an urban park under the bridge + Planned completion in 2020 + Project in the planning stage + Revised plans will be issued in the future Preliminary sketch from the prefeasibility study 9

Partnership with Spectre de rue Promote social integration and help everyone get along + Street teams and community teams deployed in the area + A street worker is creating ties with the community + Training of JCCBI field staff + Urgent situations must be reported to the SPVM + You can call JCCBI or Spectre de rue if you see homeless people occupying public spaces 11
Partnership with Les Valoristes Pilot project: Mobile container collection site + Mondays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the corner of De Maisonneuve and De Lorimier (from July to September 2017) + A new container collection site for people in the sector who have reduced mobility + Meeting with new Les Valoristes to understand their profile and needs in order to provide adapted services and help reduce the risk of homelessness + Photo from the Coop Les Valoristes Facebook page 275,000 returnable containers collected and $20,000 received in Photo credit: @xandrastefanelphotography bottle and can deposits (before the last collection) 12
Legal wall for graffitis being assessed + Space offered for artistic purposes + Dose Culture to define of a code of conduct and organize activities + Proven reduction of tags and graffitis in neighbouring sector 13
