BRAC gives Ezekiel a goat
Ezekiel’s goat has two female kids
Ezekiel gives the Ezekiel keeps second female the first kid to a villager female kid (Salome) Ezekiel now has two female goats and Salome has one
Ezekiel’s 2 goats have 2 kids each. Ezekiel now has 6 goats. He must give one new female kid to another villager - Grace Salome’s goat has two kids. She can keep one for herself but she must give the second female to another villager - Peter

Whenever someone receives the gift of a goat they must share their good fortune. In this way the whole community benefits.
The first female kid is kept by the farmer (Ezekiel / Salome / Grace /Peter etc)
The second female kid must be given to another farmer in the project
The third female kid is kept by the farmer
The fourth female kid goes to another farmer in the project
The fifth female kid goes back to BRAC to keep the herd going.
After this the agreement with BRAC is finished and the farmer can now keep all the goats – male and female. Farmers may choose to keep or sell a buck whenever one is born.
Many farmers and whole village communities have now benefitted from the original gift of one goat. And now – here are the people and here are the goats.........
