There is no change in pay or paydays. There are no changes in leave policies. 3
Employees will submit time online biweekly. This is the same time-keeping schedule as hourly temp and student employees. Employees account for their regular 40 hour schedule, and also enter extra hours worked. SmartTime will determine whether extra hours should be compensated by straight time or time and one-half. 4
Two bi-weekly periods will be submitted to one monthly payroll. Twice a year, three biweekly periods will be included. Use the calendar you were provided to determine reporting periods, the payroll they will feed into, and the date balances will be available on the WEB.
Complete the paper time sheet for October 1-5, 2014. Open your new biweekly Web leave/time report before you leave this session. Submit your leave/time reports every-other Friday before you leave campus, unless you are scheduled for weekend work. Supervisors , we are counting on you to ensure that deadlines are met!!! Get familiar with the SmartTime schedule so you understand when to submit reports, and when to check balances on the Web. 6
