Goals for this year - Discussed ways to reach a broader community in our events - Within the traditional every year events - Attending to the need of more career events expressed by the community - Increase the sense of community by joining efforts with Global Services / FYP. 2

Coming up soon - Lunar New Year Party - Friday January 24th 6PM at Kuhn Barn - Food and drinks (hopefully dumplings) 4

Career events - The aim is to spread career events through the year - 3 large workshops/conferences: University, Industry, Lab - One of these during New Perspectives - The others during the rest of the summer, when the audience is larger - Smaller workshop/talk during the rest of the months. - February: arranging details for a talk from a person from industry (Apple) - Zoom connection will be available so that we can reach more audience. 5 - -

Other updates - Progress with Fermilab Young Professionals - Joint social event March / April - Organize tours - Promote volunteering event , Leadership workshop with FSPA community - Newsletter will start next month - Bylaws - will be ratified within the next few weeks 6
