T h e S to ry B e h in d F lu id - T he idea for this series of w atercolor blocks and sheets w as brought to G lobal A rt by R ick R ousseau of A rtist H ardw are. T he unique features he env isioned included: S triking cov ers that can’ t be m issed on the shelf T he tw o-sided block - E Z B lock - a cross betw een a pad and a block A m ultitude of shapes and sizes (16 in all w hen it w as introduced) T om D ix had dev eloped the contacts w ith a 400 y ear old paper m ill in H olland called S chut. T hey produced high quality paper to our ex acting standards at a v ery affordable price. T he three com panies aligned and and in the sum m er of 2010 F luid w as born!

T h e C o lle c tio n C rafted in sm all batches at slow speeds in a E uropean paper m ill, F luid w atercolor papers possess the strength and w orking integrity of m ore ex pensiv e m ould m ade papers.

Fluid W atercolor paper is a 1 40 lb prem ium high alpha cellulose sheet that is prepared at slow er speeds for finer control. This paper is m anufactured to the ISO standard 9706 - established for perm anent papers of a conservation quality and has the longevity of several hundred years.
