FDIP IP Program goals • Attract & recruit qualified faculty who mirror the racial & ethnic diversity of the District’s service area • Provide mentoring & training opportunities for prospective faculty • Provide members of racially minoritized groups with models of their own race, ethnic and cultural backgrounds with whom they can identify and recognize as examples of occupational achievement.

  15. Note: It is important to note that our numbers in this chart are likely wildly underreported as when the program first began over 30 years ago, information was tracked on paper. It was not until 2018 that all available paper data was entered into PeopleSoft to be able to pull reports on FDIP completers. Additionally, this table summarizes active employees. Of those employed as of May 2019, how many had once completed the FDIP program since 2000.
