Collaborative Process

Implementation • State Transportation Innovation Council (STIC) – Bring in key players – Identify resources and constraints – Tailor EDC program to State’s needs

EDC Round 1 Success • Launched in October 2010 • Ohio’s Accomplishments – Adopted Safety Edge on undivided roadways – Over 50% of asphalt paved was warm mix – 19 active Programmatic Agreements – Awarded 52 Design Build contracts
