  12. Green Building Observatories The activities of the Green Building Observatories refer to the consultancy on sustainable solutions for the construction industry. Since 1998 with the european project ECJ (Environmentally Compatible Jobs) Environment Park has started to operate in the green building and employment of renewable energies sector. Green building observatories deal with: • Consultancy and design • Building certification • Writing of call for proposals and specifications for the public administration 11

  13. Hydrogen research and development laboratory The laboratory tests the hydrogen production systems according to the various sources of renewable energies: photovoltaic, biogas and wind power. The Laboratory deals with production, storage and employment of Hydrogen Envipark Activities 12

  15. The Poles of Innovation On April 2009, in the framework of EU ERDF Regional Plan, Regione Piemonte has created 12 “Poli di I nnovazione” with the mission to support the implementations of regional policies on innovation and technological development The Poles of Innovation are clusters of enterprises and R&D centers focussed on specific technological domains 14

  16. The origin of the Poles of Innovation The Poles of Innovation are based on the french the pôles experience of de compétitivité created in 2005. The pôles de compétitivité are 71 clusters on different technological domains spread all over the french territory 15
