Elementary Physical Education Cove and Neil Cummins Schools
Philosophy Larkspur-Corte Madera’s Elementary Physical Education program balances instruction in teamwork, coordination, skill building, game playing, body awareness and overall fitness. A love of movement is essential in maintaining a healthy life both physically, and socially/emotionally throughout adulthood. As students progress through PE, K-5, they develop the essential skills of collaboration, communication, and kindness, the techniques and strategies used to play a range of sports, and the ability to set and achieve personal goals.
