It is structured in different levels Level 1. It refers to those occupations and trades where both manual performed relatively simple tasks Level 2. Includes the handling of tools and application of techniques that require relatively modest levels of skill Level 3. It includes tasks related to technical activities that may be performed autonomously

Lev evel el 2: INTE TERME MEDI DIATE TE LEVEL VOCATI TIONAL TRAININ ING (CFG FGM) PLACE IN THE SYSTEM Upper Secondary Education (post-compulsory) Vocational Training DIPLOMA RECEIVED Technician in the corresponding profession PLACE WHERE TRAINED Education centres and workplace Between 1,300 and 2,000 hours, depending on the training course. The new diplomas are 2,000 hours. Normally, they last for one and a half years (but DURATION can be two years). Between 300 and 700 of these hours are dedicated to in- company training (Workplace Training Module). GROUP AIMED AT AND 16 years and over AGE OF STUDENTS Public and private vocational training centres Specialized centres or centres teaching other programmes. Normally offered together with compulsory CENTRES secondary education and Bachillerato in the secondary schools called " institutos de educación secundaria " ENTRY REQUIREMENTS Compulsory Secondary Education Diploma Entry to all disciplines in Bachillerato Advanced Level Vocational Training by test TRANSITION TO OTHER Entry to specialized studies, such as special education courses (Art and STUDIES Foreign Languages), etc.
