Topics tackled here are derived from the EF Business Communication Book - however supplementary and authentic material used in line with specific Business English B1 + 5 x x x x x student needs. There is also focus on written tasks such as emailing, writing letters, writing memos, compiling CVs and giving presentations. Fundamentals of An introductory course focused on helping students to write better starting A2 + B1 2 x x Writing from writing sentences through to writing paragraphs and short essays. The course is designed to assist students in becoming confident and competent Academic Writing B2+ 2 x x writers for academic purposes - course includes brainstorming, drafting, General Students choose 2 Blocks - Intensive Students choose 5 Blocks proofreading, editing, revising and presenting a final product. Communicative approach towards learning and grammar and using structures Grammar ALL LEVELS 2 x x correctly in a social context. A1 / A2 / The main idea of the Conversation Course is to focus on the students' ability Conversation 1 x B1 to express themselves in everyday situations. The main aim of this course is to enable students to gain confidence in speaking and presenting in English - students will learn how to appropriately Speaking Skills B2+ 2 x choose and research a topic, how to give informative presentation and how to speak with confidence. This course provides students with an introductory overview on the hospitality Hospitality & A2 + B1 1 x and tourism industry. Students are also introduced to the administrative Tourism aspects of hospitality. Students will learn the secrets to clear English speech by gaining control Pronunciation ALL LEVELS 1 x over voice, pronunciation and intonation. Focuses on language awareness and provides students with learning strategies Vocabulary ALL LEVELS 1 x to notice and recognise language patterns, with the aim of using these outside the classroom. Focuses on strategies for effective speaking, building upon established Communication ALL LEVELS 1 x competence targets.
INTERSNHIPS & & UNIVERSITY › Students who would like a more holistic and hands on experience can book an INTERNSHIP PLACEMENT . Both General or Intensive students can opt for this and the courses are generally split as follows: › 4 weeks course + 4 weeks placement › 8 weeks course + 8 weeks placement (Popular) › 12 weeks course + 12 weeks placement ( best choice) › Students who are interested in reading for a degree at the University of Malta can approach the Academics Office to get all necessary help with the application process and entry requirements.
