PHHS and accreditation Began consideration in 2012 Interrupted by implementation of Human Services Department, other staff and Tribal-level changes In place: Part-time, contract Accreditation Coordinator (PHAB Site Visitor) CDC Public Health Associate Major partners: Cherokee Indian Hospital Authority (CIHA), USET Tribal Epidemiology Center (TEC), Western NC Health Network (WNCHN)
PHHS and accreditation: current status Strategic Plan updated December 2017; in implementation phase with priority teams THA/THIP First THA 2013; THA in process First THIP 2015-17; will resume after THA released QI Plan: in draft; QI Coordinator in place AHEOP in place PM system: under construction Documentation collection When?...
