Eligibility Requirements • Meet minimum college readiness test • See your high school counselor for scores in reading, writing, and/or approval math for the course(s) you want to take for dual credit • Complete college admissions application • Maintain a final grade of C (70) or better in all dual credit courses in order to enroll in subsequent courses

College Placement Tests & Score Requirements • Students must show college readiness in reading, writing, and/or math as applicable to the course(s) the student plans to take. • All students in Texas public colleges are required to demonstrate college readiness through the Texas Success Initiative (TSI), which is a state program designed to promote student success by assessing students' academic skills through the TSI Assessment (TSIA). • Students may either take the TSIA or show scores from other accepted assessments approved for placement. Approved assessments are the TSIA, ACT, SAT, and STAAR.
