  1. Dreams of Dying About the Presenter: Elizabeth Herrera is a healer and author who writes life-changing books. She was raised in a Christian home, but lost her faith in her early twenties. She continued searching for something to fill the void, eventually discovering Native American spirituality (shamanism) a decade later. Through this practice, she unexpectedly became a catalyst for healing and miracles. These events led her back to a belief in a higher power. In 2008, she discovered A Course in Miracles , which perfectly complimented her shamanic path. Elizabeth is the author of Shaman Stone Soup (memoir) and Dreams of Dying (January 2014, visionary fiction), and the soon to be released Earth Sentinels (April 2014, visionary fiction). An atom is spread out all over the place until a conscious observer decides to look at it. Otherwise there is simply potential. Everything is made of energy, which turns into particles that only appear when observed. Otherwise they return to an energy state. Making vs. Creating T-2. I.3:5-6 What is seen in dreams seems to be very real. Yet the Bible says that a deep sleep fell upon Adam, and nowhere is there reference to his waking up. T-20.VIII.7:3-7 What if you recognized this world is a hallucination? What if you really understood you made it up? What if you realized that those who seem to walk about in it, to sin and die, attack and murder and destroy themselves, are wholly unreal? Could you have faith in what you see, if you accepted this? And would you see it? T-10.I.2:1-6 You are at home in God, dreaming of exile but perfectly capable of awakening to reality. Is it your decision to do so? You recognize from your own experience that what you see in dreams you think is real while you are asleep. Yet the instant you waken you realize that everything that seemed to happen in the dream did not happen at all. You do not think this strange, even though all the laws of what you awaken to were violated while you slept. Is it not possible that you merely shifted from one dream to another, without really waking? Lesson 14.1.2-5 What God did not create does not exist. And everything that does exist exists as He created it. The world you see has nothing to do with reality. It is of your own making, and it does not exist. Lesson 16.1:2-5 Everything you see is the result of your thoughts. There is no exception to this fact. Thoughts are not big or little; powerful or weak. They are merely true or false. T-2.I.1:5-6 Because of your likeness to your Creator you are creative. No child of God can lose this ability because it is inherent in what he is, but he can use it inappropriately by projecting.

  2. T-2.VI.9:5-8 The mind is very powerful, and never loses its creative force. It never sleeps. Every instant it is creating. It is hard to recognize that thought and belief combine into a power surge that can literally move mountains. T-2.VI.9:13-14 There are no idle thoughts. All thinking produces form at some level. T-3.VII.1:6-7 It is a mistake to believe that a thought system based on lies is weak. Nothing made by a child of God is without power. T-21.1:1-7 Projection makes perception. The world you see is what you gave it, nothing more than that. But though it is no more than that, it is not less. Therefore, to you it is important. It is the witness to your state of mind, the outside picture of an inward condition. As a man thinketh, so does he perceive. Therefore, seek not to change the world, but choose to change your mind about the world. T.2.VIII.1:3-5 Your will to create was given you by your Creator, Who was expressing the same Will in His Creation. Since creative ability rests in the mind, everything you create is necessarily a matter of will. It also follows that whatever you alone make is real in your own sight, though not in the Mind of God. Workbook Lesson 241 Introduction ...the world was meant to be a place where God could enter not, and where His Son could be apart from Him. Here was perception born, for knowledge could not cause such insane thoughts. But eyes deceive, and ears hear falsely. Why would I create war, injustice and disasters? Preface The world we see merely reflects our own internal frame of reference the dominant ideas, wishes and emotions in our minds. Projection makes perception . We look inside first, decide the kind of world we want to see and then project that world outside, making it the truth as we see it . We make it true by our interpretations of what it is we are seeing. If we are using perception to justify our own mistakes our anger, our impulses to attack, our lack of love in whatever form it may take we will see a world of evil, destruction, malice, envy and despair. All this we must learn to forgive, not because we are being good and charitable, but because what we are seeing is not true. We have distorted the world by our twisted defenses, and are therefore seeing what is not there. As we learn to recognize our perceptual errors, we also learn to look past them or forgive. At the same time we are forgiving ourselves, looking past our distorted self- concepts to the Self that God created in us and as us. T-21.2:1-4 Damnation is your judgment on yourself, and this you will project upon the world. See it as damned, and all you see is what you did to hurt the Son of God. If you behold disaster and catastrophe, you tried to crucify him. If you see holiness and hope, you joined the Will of God to set him free. Healing the Illusion

  3. T-20.VIII.8:1-7 Hallucinations disappear when they are recognized for what they are. This is the healing and the remedy. Believe them not and they are gone. And all you need to do is recognize that you did this. Once you accept this simple fact and take unto yourself the power you gave them, you are released from them. One thing is sure; hallucinations serve a purpose, and when that purpose is no longer held they disappear. Therefore, the question never is whether you want them, but always, do you want the purpose that they serve? T-3.VII.5:6-11 Your starting point is truth, and you must return to your Beginning. Much has been seen since then, but nothing has really happened. Your Self is still in peace, even though your mind is in conflict. You have not yet gone back far enough, and that is why you become so fearful. As you approach the Beginning, you feel the fear of the destruction of your thought system upon you as if it were the fear of death. There is no death, but there is a belief in death. Preface When you have been caught in the world of perception you are caught in a dream. You cannot escape without help, because everything your senses show merely witnesses to the reality of the dream. God has provided the Answer, the only Way out, the true Helper. It is the function of His Voice, His Holy Spirit, to mediate between the two worlds. He can do this because, while on the one hand He knows the truth, on the other He also recognizes our illusions, but without believing in them. It is the Holy Spirit's goal to help us escape from the dream world by teaching us how to reverse our thinking and unlearn our mistakes. Forgiveness is the Holy Spirit's great learning aid in bringing this thought reversal about. From the book: Dialogue on Awakening What already exists is being covered up by an illusion of who you think you are. So don’t undertake this process of changing your mind with an attitude that says, “I must become something.” Approach it more directly with a secure knowing on your part that the change is merely bringing you back into a realignment with what you have always been. Think of it, if you will, as a process of bringing yourself out of a state of amnesia. Why doesn’t God wake us up? T-2.VII.1:4-5 If I intervened between your thoughts and their results, I would be tampering with a basic law of cause and effect; the most fundamental law there is. I would hardly help you if I depreciated the power of your own thinking. T-5.II.6:1-2 God honored even the miscreations of His children because they had made them. But He also blessed His children with a way of thinking that could raise their perceptions so high they could reach almost back to Him. It is the recognition that you are a divine being who could never be hurt or die.
