Other • The use of proton (and also Carbon ion) therapy for medical oncology treatments is a very dynamic situation. • Availability and access to these facilities is changing as the medical community matures its usage. • A good website for further general site status is: https://www.ptcog.ch/index.php/facilities-in-operation • There is still discussion on the possibility of dedicated research sites either within the U.S. government as well as private industry. 6 To be presented by Kenneth A.
