System Statistics Iowa State University’s Biorenewables Research Laboratory (BRL) Building Roof area is approximately 10,500 Square Feet. This system began operations in November of 2010. Information on this slide obtained October 10, 2012. Fourteen (14) Water Closet fixtures. Four (4) Urinal fixtures. Restroom Flush Valve equipped plumbing fixtures used 164,513 Gallons of Water. Domestic Cold Water Make-up (Back-up System) used 173 Gallons of Water. The 25,000 gallon Building Cistern had 21,300 gallons of stored rain water. 7
