Jobs Plus • What is Jobs Plus – Incentive for employers – Simple scheme to access • Levels of Incentive – € 7500 or € 10000 – No limit on number of new recruits • Requirements – Full time employment, min 30 hours per week – Fully compliant with Irish Tax and Employment laws – No displacement of existing employees – Ties in nicely to JobBridge
Part Time Jobs Incentive • What is the Part Time Job Incentive – Stepping stone to full time work • Criteria – Under 24 hours per week – Must last at least two months – Must be insurable employment at class A or J rate of contribution
Family Income Supplement • Myth- it is not worthwhile getting into employment • FIS payment 60% of the difference between the average weekly family income and the income limit set for the family size set by DSP – Fulltime employment – Minimum 19 hours – At least one qualified child
Workplace Support Schemes • Employability Service • The Wage Subsidy Scheme • The Reasonable Accommodation Fund
Employability Service • Employment Support Service for people with health conditions, injuries, illnesses or disability – Recruitment service for the business community – Ongoing employment assistance & support – Job Coaching – Provision of advice & information about additional supports
Wage Subsidy Scheme • WSS provides financial incentives for the employment of disabled people – Based on reduced productivity – Subsidies structured under 3 different strands – Employees on WSS subject to same conditions as other employees
