The Lee Highway and North Glebe Road improvement project is inclusive of all modes of transportation to achieve goals to improve pedestrian and bicycle safety and improve traffic flow.
A traffic impact study was conducted in 2004 Lee Highway (Route 29) and Glebe Road (Route 120) are owned and maintained by Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Both are classified as principal arterials Speed limits are 30 mph with the exception of Glebe Rd north of Lee Hwy, where the speed limit is posted at 35 mph Average Daily Traffic Volume ◦ Glebe Road carries approximately 18,000 vehicles per day (vpd) ◦ Lee Highway carries approximately 22,000 vpd
