TRYOUT SCHEDULE All CUP TEAMS FOLLOW OHIO SOUTH TRYOUT DATES (Approx. 1 st Tuesday after Memorial Day – June 7 th) - See club website for tryout schedules – www.cincinnatiunitedsoccer.com EXCEPTION INCLUDES: U14 DA Team See club website for tryout schedules – www.cincyda.com
TRYOUT PROCESS FAQ’S REGISTRATION: Please register as early as possible. If you do not register for try-outs we will presume you do not want to be a part of our program. Please double check your contact information so that we are able to contact you. It is expected that your daughter attend both nights of try-outs. FORMAT FOR TRY-OUTS: Teams will go through a basic group warm-up followed by 1v1 games and small sided games on the first night within our 9v9 age groups. GK’s will be with our goal keeper trainers. For our 11v11 teams they will follow the same procedure but go into 9v9 games. On each age groups 2 nd players will warm-up as before, compete in 2v2 scenarios with GK’s when available and finish the games that replicate their own environment. FORMATION OF TEAMS: Teams will be formed as soon as possible. Players may receive offers on field or after the 1 st night of try-outs. Upon completion of try-outs all players will be notified of the team they made or if they have been placed on a waiting list. ACCEPTING A POSITION WITH CUP: Players will have 24 hrs. to accept. If players do not accept within the timeframe we will move onto the next player in line. No exceptions. MULTI SPORT ATHLETES: Without question our program provides the opportunity and understanding for our players to remain multi sport athletes. Training is 3 days a week within our program and it is an expectation that our players attend all sessions during our regular seasons. However, we also understand conflicts arise that we will always work around. During our off season we expect other sports to take priority over our programming. PLAYERS CURRENTLY NOT AT THE CUP LEVEL: After evaluation your daughter at this time may not be ready for CUP. Upon completion of try-outs all information will be passed onto our individual silos. They will receive your information and will be in touch.
