HISTORY OF LAHTI PRECISION 1908 1908 Lahti Precision’s former parent company Lahden Rauta- ja Metalliteollisuustehdas Oy was founded (Raute Oyj).
Production of hand and table scales for domestic and 1914 shop use began. The scales division was incorporated under the name 1943 Lahden Vaaka Oy and moved to own manufacturing premises. Deliveries of weighing stations for process industry, including 1960s glass and building materials started. First dry-mix plant deliveries. First AAC and Dry Mix Plants were delivered. 1970s Lahden Vaaka Oy changed its name to Raute Punnitus ja 1980s Automaatio (1988 Raute Precision) International expansion started. In 1992, international 1990s sales accounted for approx. 20% of total sales. Eqvitec Partners and the management acquired Raute Precision Oy 2004 from Raute Oyj in an MBO (2006 Lahti Precision Oy). The Company acquired new dry-mix mixing technology. 2009 Verdane Capital’s fund acquired Eqvitec Partners’ 2010 shares in the Company. The Company acquired new glass mixing technology. In 2012, 2012 international sales accounted for approx. 80% of total sales.
