Coldwater Conservation Grants � Small grant program for developing a coldwater conservation strategy � Develop Coldwater Conservation plan that: � Evaluates coldwater stream condition � Identifies problems and concerns � Outlines needed protective actions � Builds local awareness and support for the conservation of coldwater streams

Coldwater Conservation Grants Grants are targeted towards watersheds that: � Are located along streams that contain naturally reproducing trout populations or have the potential to contain naturally reproducing trout populations; � Are listed as special protection waters within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; � The stream section is generally open to the public or indicates public utilization of the stream segment; � Show significant use of partnerships, describing how organizations will cooperate to develop and implement the plan; and, � A local organization takes the lead in planning, rather than a consulting firm.
