Ciclo Med do Brazil Ltda. was established in 2001 in the city of Curitiba, Paraná. São Paulo is the site of the Sales Services from where they reach the best hospitals in the country. It is represented in most of the important Brazilian cities while sales personnel reach other minor areas, covering the entire territory of Brazil from this local distribution center. Excellent technical personnel aided by well skilled commercial and administrative personnel form the core of Ciclo Med. Our technical personnel as well as our sales force have more than fifteen years of professional experience, offering our ample clientele quality, safety and reliability in each of our products.
Ciclo Med is the result of the union of two prestigious companies, Rochamed and Fotobras , Division of Medical Devices, known for their services to the medical and hospital market, the distribution of radiological films, medical equipment, angioplasty catheters, etc. Murilo Rocha, the present CEO, was director of both companies and led the sales area for 24 years. His accumulated and varied experience in specialized areas with the proven capacity of being able to install an entire brand-new hospital within a few days period, encompassing, from the Surgical Center, laundry, kitchen, sterilization, etc. to the more sophisticated departments such as CCU, Image Center and Emergency Room, have only one supplier and one contact.
Murilo Rocha then became General Manager for Brazil for GUIDANT , the North American corporation specifically dedicated to sales of Vascular Intervention products, such as balloon catheters, stents, and others as well as Cardio-Rhythm Management (CRM), that is, Pacemakers, Implantable Defibrillators and VHF. His responsibility covered the initiation of the Brazilian operations and he significantly increased market shares. After 5 years, Murilo Rocha started his own business, Ciclo Med, collaborating old business friends with him and introducing his sons, Daniel and Andre, into the medical market.

Ciclo Med presently has 6 technical salesmen in the State of São Paulo while in other areas such as the Northeast, there are 30 agents, sub-dealers or representatives with a grand total of approximately 100 around Brazil. The administrative office is located in São Paulo as well as the customer service and management, 3 directors and managers of sales and administration, marketing and specialized nurses who provide technical assistance and training. Equipment maintenance is effected by skilled technicians and laboratory facilities.
