  8. The Bettendorf CSD is using the Raptor Visitor Management o System in all of their elementary buildings and middle school. Raptor is currently used by over 8,000 K-12 schools and community facilities, such as YMCAs to keep children safe from sexual predators. The first time a guest staff works in each of these buildings, the o individual will need to present a driver's license or government ID to the building secretary. Raptor will perform an instant sex offender background check against the registered sex offender databases in all 50 states using the photo ID. Once an individual has been cleared by Raptor, he/she needs only to sign in/out of Raptor for each subsequent guest staff assignment. Guest staff who provide services to Bettendorf High School will o check in/out with the building secretary in the office.

If you are already in an assignment, you will not get notice of a job that o becomes open. If any changes are made in the preferred sub list after an absence is o entered, the absence will not go out to the preferred sub. There are many variables that go into the preferred sub list, it is hard to o pinpoint the exact reason why a guest staff member did not receive the job if they were on a preferred list. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate personal request for guest o staff unless it is for a long term position or specialty area (ex: foreign language, music lessons)
