Membership in LSUHSC SNA confers membership in the district , state and National Student Nurses Association .
L S U H N O S C H O O L O F N U R S I N G Student Nurses Association Through service events , members earn points , and if students accumulate 12 points (9 points for CARE ), they will receive a graduation cord . 1 point is roughly 4 hours of service You will receive 1 point per semester if you attend all 4 chapter meetings

Why I "When I first started LSUHSC-SON, I was highly interested in joining SNA. I wanted to join because to be a nurse you have to have Love a strong quality to care. You have to care not only for your patient, but your patient’s community. How are you able to care for SNA "I love SNA because of your patient’s community if you are not on the forefront helping that community out. everything it stands for. SNA has helped me strengthen my quality Community, selflessness, and to care for those around me. That is why I professional leadership" joined and that is why I absolutely love this J.M.
