Routine of a Reception Day 8:50am Line up and register 9:00am Literacy whole class input followed by adult led focus activities 10:15am Outdoor play time 10:30am Fruit and milk 10:45am Maths whole class input followed by adult led activities 11:35am Daily Maths meeting 11:45am LUNCH and outdoor play time 12:50pm Register and daily Phonics session 1:20pm Topic activities 2:50pm Story time or celebration assembly 3:20pm School finishes

First Day • Bring your child to their classroom via the Reception playground at 9:30am • Parents are welcome to stay to help their child settle at an activity. • Me-in-a-box, water bottle, book bag, PE kit and packed lunch (if they are not having school dinners). • Second day onwards line up at 8:50am

Key Dates • Home visits 3 rd and 4 th September for children who not attend Wimbledon Chase Primary School • 5 th - 13 th September staggered start dates. • Half days finishing after lunch at 1:40pm, pick up from the Reception playground until 20 st September. • First full day on Friday 20 th September, pick up at 3:20pm. • Class teacher Welcome meeting - 18 th September 9:00 – 10:00am in your child’s classroom. • Grandparents Tea Party Monday 14 th October 2pm school hall.

School Fund + Pupil Premium • Voluntary contribution to our School Amenities Fund of £10 per month or whatever you can afford. • School Fund is used for a variety of things which we cannot buy from our school budget • Drama specialist one day per week • Theatre workshops • Cookery equipment • Gardening equipment and resources • Digital cameras • Photo albums • Storage boxes • Football kit • Xmas trees, etc. We also use it to subsidise some school trips. • This is best paid by Standing Order/ please complete and return the form at the start of the new term.
