What is AAC? Augmentative and Alternative Communication : any method of communication used to supplement/ augment/support the more usual methods of speech and writing, when these are impaired. AAC can be used both to facilitate a means of expression and to aid comprehension.

How many people need AAC? There is not much information available about this!
