School District of Lancaster: Office of School Directors Camelot Findings Mixed overall performance results on state measures (Keystone, PSSA). Daily attendance and lower chronic absenteeism are consistently below the district average. Multiple efforts are underway to address. College and career efforts in instruction and activities have begun the process for better preparation of students. There is a need for more effective data on school climate and perceptions. 15
School District of Lancaster: Office of School Directors Camelot Next Steps Camelot at Buehrle and Phoenix will continue to work with the District to improve academic and behavioral services for students who are at risk. The intended result is increased performance on state assessments, and decreased absenteeism. The District will review data and continue monitoring student performance and behavioral support with Camelot leadership. A Student and staff survey will be conducted in spring of each year to gauge perceptions of efficacy and climate. Action planning will include areas of need identified through these surveys. The contract will be revised to reflect enhanced expectations for Camelot programs and staff, students and their performance (academic, attendance, career and college readiness). 16
