  9. The Police and Crime Panel Every commissioner will be held to account by the public via the ballot box. They will also be held to account for their performance by a Police and Crime Panel.  Panels will comprise one elected representative (councillors and, where relevant, elected mayors) from each local authority within the force area and two independent members or co-optees  In Cambridgeshire details on the make up of the Panel is being finalised for June.
