Buckinghamshire Multi- Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) • We aim to go-live with a Buckinghamshire MASH on 1 st July 2014 • The MASH will co-locate, in Aylesbury Police Station, partners from TVP, BCC (children’s and adults) and health services • There will be remote linkages with many other services, using the MASH Researchers as a conduit • The MASH involves information sharing on vulnerable people in a secure environment, allowing well informed decisions to be made

Next steps for MASH / BSAB: 1. Be ready to work with the MASH by identifying single points of contact within your respective agencies that will be able to respond quickly to requests for information from the MASH (potentially within 2hrs) 2. Begin to consider what role the Board has in relation to the MASH once it is operational – proposals are heading your way!
