BACKGROUND DATA • Traffic Studies • Average daily traffic (ADT) is 4,000 vehicles per day • Classified as Urban Minor Arterial roadway • Candidate for road diet as less than 20,000 vehicles per day per FHWA guidance • Parking • 32 legal parking spaces currently along corridor • Additional 51 parking spaces within 300 feet of Western/W Ohio/Brighton intersection • 15 spaces to remain • Parking utilization is less than 8% Typical cross-section of proposed layout looking north.
