  3. RESULTS ¡ 7 successful bond elections since 1985 ¡ Most recent - May 2009 (pass rate 81.08%) ¡ Why? 1.   4. WHY WAS ELECTION CALLED? ¡ In response to work of 44 member committee (worked 6 mos. following L.Y. Symposium & Facility Committee) ¡ Enrollment at Valley Ranch Elementary 1. 500 in 2008 / 660+ in 2013 2. Currently busing 750 elem. students out of VR area 3. 2011 redistricting efforts only temporary 4. Many VR students unable to participate in district ’ s philosophy of “ neighborhood schools ” ¡ Additional New Developments (approx. 1,700 Single Family units, not including Multi-Family Cypress Waters Development).
