Repeat the duplication process, holding ALT and dragging the merged brick 01 Duplicate Vertically images up so that they go beyond the wall. Then Merge the layers. Hold ALT and drag. SOL & ALEX DIGITAL SKILLS PRESENTATION 8 20.11.2019 2019-2020
With the magic wand tool activated (you may have to right click 01 Trim off excess Wall on the tool location and switch to magic wand), and the Section Magic wand tool and Delete. layer selected, click in the area where the wall is. With the brick texture layer selected, go to Image > Adjustment 01 Make the Texture more faint > Levels and on the window, move the arrow at the black end on Image > Adjustment > Levels the left towards the right until you are happy with it. The white background is selected but so is some of the persons 01 Improve your selection shirt. Use the Polygonal Lasso Tool and, whilst holding ALT, Polygonal Lasso Tool select the area on his shirt that you don’t want selected. Right click on the person layer and Rasterise it. Select the bit of shoe that is overlapping the section line and 01 Delete the overlap DELETE it. Select and DELETE. Then Save. Your Photoshop edit is now complete. Place the original Section file we had. This file is a Vector. 02 Place Section File Vectors are more editable and do not pixelate. With the section cut lines selected, use the Shape Builder tool on the 02 Shape builder right and click in the 2 areas between the section cut lines. This will Turn the section cut lines into a solid shape. build them into a solid object. Press escape when done. With one of these built shapes selected, double click on the fill colour on the right and change it to a colour. With your second (unfilled) section cut shape selected, choose the Eye 02 Fill The other Section Cut dropper tool. Then click on your filled section cut shape. This will give it Eye dropper tool. the same attributes as the first. SOL & ALEX DIGITAL SKILLS PRESENTATION 23 20.11.2019 2019-2020
With your second (unfilled) section cut shape selected, choose the Eye 02 Pen Tool dropper tool. Then click on your filled section cut shape. This will give it Draw a ventillation line using the Pen tool. If you click, hold and the same attributes as the first. drag at each point this will give it a curve. Repeat until you have a curvy line. If you right click on the pen tool you can switch to the anchor tool and edit each control point on the line. Turn off the Fill and give it a blue colour. 02 Change Line Settings Turn off the Fill and give it a blue colour. Then edit the stroke weight.
