Project Objectives The goal of Atom Power for this project is to build upon our existing knowledge base and develop higher ampacity SiC solid-state circuit breakers to penetrate the full commercial and industrial building markets. Atom Power BP2 project: • 800-amp Atom Switch using SiC circuit breaking • 480VAC • 3-phase • 4,800-amp instantaneous ride- through • 200,000-amp interrupting capacity • UL 489 ready 3 ¡

Pathway to Market • In the short term, there is a significant premium to pay for a solid-state circuit breaker. • Therefore, the focus initially is on motor controls: • Motor circuit protection • Arc flash protection • Integrated motor soft-starting • Integrated ANSI relay protections • Remote control • Built-in metering This is effectively a • Communication aggregation Motor Control Center at 20% of the size and about 75% of the cost with ~2X the value Atom OS TM Atom Panel TM (UI) 6 ¡

Broader Impact on the WBG Community • Atom Power is bringing WBG devices to mass market. $30B per year serviceable market in US • Atom Power has taken an uncommon approach to the use of SiC devices by implementing them as short circuit and overload protection and is therefore opening up an entirely new industry for the WBG community Future Direction • Atom Power will be developing devices for up to 4,000- amp circuit breaker applications • Artificial intelligence development for self-coordination of solid-state circuit breakers 7 ¡
