What are Adaptations • Adaptations are traits that help organisms survive. • Body adaptations are called physical adaptations.Physical adaptations help animals survive in there environment.Animal adaptations happen naturally.
What is mimicry • The viceroy butterfly is protected by mimicry. • Mimicry occurs when one organism imitates another. Mimicry is good but it is mistaken by monarch butterfly and viceroy. Mimicry is on viceroy butterfly so it can taste good so no one eats it so they will think it is a monarch butterfly. Because viceroy butterfly is poisonous.
How do animals behave • Physical adaptations help animals survive. • Other kids of adaptations involve behaviors or actions. One type of behavior is not learned. It is an inherited behavior. The simplest inherited behavior is a reflex.
