  11. SENIOR AWARDS WALL OF FAME Perfect Attendance all Four Years - This award is given to seniors that have not been absent in all four years. The Minerva Academic Award- This award is given to the senior that has the most rigorous classes; Honors, AP and college level, has the highest GPA and has displayed good character throughout their time at The Middle College at UNCG. Spartan Most Improved Award- This award is given to a senior that has shown tremendous academic and/or character growth during their four years at The Middle College at UNCG student. National Health Care Certifications- All seniors that received and passed the CPR and AED training, Work-Keys and Microsoft Office. Content Awards (English, Science, Social Studies, Health Science & Spanish- Given to a senior that has shown a passion for that specific subject and maintained an “A” average, all four years, in both college and high school classes or a senior that has shown passion and significant growth in their academic performance from their freshmen to senior year. Thomas Martinek Service to the Community Award- Given to a senior that is committed to helping others and being of service to the community. S/he has accumulated 500 or more service learning hours, used their service to educate their classmates and the community and has displayed good character during their time at the MC at UNCG. Mathematics Award- This award is given to a senior that is a critical thinker and efficient at using multiple techniques as he/she preservers to solve problems. They are willing to ask questions and dig deeper to arrive at a solution. This student has also shown a passion for math and maintained an “A” average, all four years, in both college and high school classes or a senior that has shown passion and significant growth in their performance from their freshmen to senior year. Perseverance Award- This Award is given to a senior that was able to persevere in spite of any obstacles and/or challenges they may have endured on their path to graduation. Outstanding Character Award- This award is given to a senior that is able to work with diverse groups of people and has consistently displayed all-around good character ; responsibility, respect, integrity, self-discipline and perseverance throughout their time at the MC at UNCG and encourages others to do the same. Principal’s Leadership Award -This award is given to a well-rounded senior who has consistently display leadership qualities . This individual organizes and brings groups of people together for a common cause. He/she displays good character and understands what it means to “agree to disagree” and being able to move forward with the task at hand.

  15. HEALTH CAREERS TEACHER AND STUDENT PREPARING FOR REGIONAL HOSA COMPETITION THAT WAS HELD ON OUR CAMPUS.

  18. STUDENTS AND TEACHERS POSE TOGETHER TO SHOW THEIR SPIRIT DURING OUR ANNUAL SPIRIT WEEK; CHARACTER DAY AND NATIONAL RED RIBBON’S UNITY DAY; WEAR ORANGE TO UNITE AGAINST BULLYING & DRUGS.
