PLA (Polylactic acid) and ABS (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) • ABS – Higher melting temperature, smells of hot plastic, issues with part warping, better strength and machinability, vulnerable to moisture. • PLA – Lower melting temperature, smells of waffles, fewer issues with warping, more eco- friendly, wide range of colors and ‘glossy feel’, vulnerable to moisture
