Potential Career Interest As 7 th grade students, we encourage you to continue to think about potential career or interest areas. Please fill out the box below with a career path or career interest:
Elective Classes (elect means to choose) You get to choose some of the classes that you take. You may either choose to take: 4 semester classes 1 full-year class and 2 semester classes 2 full-year classes Remember that you will have to take a required Health class in 7 th grade.
World Language 2 years are required for HS graduation and most colleges require 2-3 years. If you have not started a World Language, you may register for Spanish 1a or French 1a. 1a + 1b = Spanish 1 in high school You may not register for French 1A or Spanish 1A as an 8 th grader

Alternate Electives Use the Light Pink sheet with the list of electives on the elective courses list to fill in your alternate elective choices.

Elective Information Final course offerings are based on the number of students who sign up for each course. Some students may be recommended to take a reading support, math seminar or special education class. These classes will take the place of one of your full-year elective slots.

You and your parents must sign at the bottom! “My Parent/Guardian and I have carefully selected the above courses for the 2020-2021school year. We know that every effort is made to accommodate our requests. However, if this is not possible we understand that I will be placed in one of my alternate elective choices or any open elective course and that there will be no schedule changes unless an error is made in my schedule .”
