General Expectations • It is a privilege (not a right) to be part of this team • Use common sense • Expectations – Daily attendance is expected – Bad weather is not a reason to cancel practice – Varsity are at practice over MEA break (all welcome) – Expectations are not the same for every athlete • Respect – Coaches, teammates, facilities, equipment, opponents, and officials • Academics are most important, but learning to balance and time manage are important lessons

Transportation • Transportation is provided to and from all competitions – Please use the team provided transportation if possible – Athletes MAY NOT be transported by non-adults (including themselves) – If you would like your son to be transported by an adult that is not a legal guardian, written permission is required (form on athletics website) • Transportation is provided from Valley View & EHS to the ECC: Shuttle Bus Schedule **Activity Bus Number 71** 3:50 Depart EHS Door #3 4:00 Arrive at Edina Community Center – Door #7 4:02 Arrive at South View – Door #6 4:12 Arrive at VV Door #19 4:19 Arrive at ECC Door #7 4:21 Arrive at SV Door #6

Team Assessment • $75 this fall (additional if part of “varsity”) – Scholarships available – Additional donations are fantastic if you are able! • What we use it for: – Additional coaching (the district funds 5 coaches) – Banquet – Other athlete awards – Gatorade – Savings for long term, larger expenditures • Team Tents • Uniforms (partially district funded) • Warm-ups (partially district funded)
