California Employees Only Voluntary Disability Insurance Update Legacy NXP and Former Freescale Federal Tax Entities are merging on 7 November 2016 How does this impact the Voluntary Disability Insurance (VDI) plan? • California Voluntary Disability Plan (VDI) is being withdrawn and will no longer be available • California State Disability (SDI) and NXP’s Short Term Disability (STD) plan will be offered to all California employees; including the STD Buy-Up option • California State Disability (SDI) tax will start with 18 November 2016 paycheck • If you want to enroll in the STD Buy-Up option, please contact NXP Rewards Center at (888) 375-2367 10 COMPANY INTERNAL/PROPRIETARY

Healthcare Reform: Form 1095 Don’t Fear the Form • IRS Form 1095-C will be mailed to NXP employees by Jan. 31, 2017 to be used for 2016 income tax filing • Legacy NXP employees will receive two forms • Used to verify compliance with employer/individual mandates and eligibility for Marketplace premium tax credits • Sign up for e-delivery at nxp.com/rewards if you want it faster • New rules for Social Security numbers (SSNs) solicitations – add SSNs for your dependents if you haven’t already 12 COMPANY INTERNAL/PROPRIETARY
