Art Portfolio • Compulsory for all P1 Pupils - One-time Purchase (For Use from P1-P2) • Included in the booklist (Upon purchase from our school’s bookshop, the portfolio will be delivered and placed in your child’s respective classroom in the beginning of next year. • Portfolio will be kept in A3 Clear Pocket Holder Portfolio school to progressively (20 pockets) archive your child’s artworks from P1-P2.

MODE OF ASSESSMENT IN ART Portfolio is the main mode of assessment in all primary schools  A portfolio always includes reflection  A portfolio tells one student’s story Students will engage in recalling, Contains both work in progress and final thinking and sharing what they have artworks that students select to show and learnt from the experiences tell ideas that are meaningful to them. For example:  Documentation of process e.g. ART Sketches, Photographs , Visual PORTFOLIO journals , Written ideas  Documentation of Presentation e.g. Artist talk; Show-and-tell; Exhibition  Reflections  A portfolio is as much a process as a product Students will engage in collecting items in their portfolio and use the items in the portfolio to engage in discussion with their classmates and teacher to share their ideas or improve on their art.
