VOLUNTEER WORK Ø Great way to get students through the door Ø Volume is key to finding involved, engaged participants Ø Use local school policies and clubs to your organization’s advantage Ø Young people may be more physically able to do certain laborious jobs

“MILLENNIALS” WORKING WITH THE YOUTH § Students often really enjoy their work. § Make sure their accomplishments are praised and their ideas/input is respected § Allow them the space to work on things that interest them § Young people are often less accustomed to responsibility without consequence § There is no reason that they have to be there, so motivation must be found in other ways § Utilize their connection to social media and popular culture to update the organization
OUR SUCCESS Sydney Daniel § Louisville High School Junior § Louisville High School Senior § Began as a HR at 15 after accepting § Daniel’s father is one of our founding our sponsorship and participating in members and attended many meeting our local pageant to become unofficially before coming on as a HR Constitution Queen in February of 2018 § Helps with volunteer organization and § Participates in events and offers social fundraising ideas media support
