XMM-SERVS: Overlapping with the LSST Deep Drilling Fields XMM-LSS W-CDF-S ELAIS-S1
The 5 Ms XMM-SERVS Heritage Program At 50 ks XMM-Newton depth, expect ~ 11,000 AGNs and many X-ray groups/clusters • SMBH growth across the full range of cosmic environments and SMBH/galaxy connections • Great legacy value as LSST/DES DDFs and MOONS/PFS, TolTEC/ALMA, & MOS-RM fields • Ground-truth AGN sample for calibrating LSST AGN selection PI: Brandt
Results from the XMM-LSS Field 5242 X-ray sources 4858 (93%) X-ray sources have reliable counterparts from SERVS, VIDEO, CFHTLS, and HSC-SSP In our prime 4.5 deg 2 , more than 70% of sources have spectroscopic or high-quality photometric redshifts Chen et al. 2018
W-CDF-S: 2.3 Ms, 79 observations 4.6 deg 2 1.8/1.5 Ms PN/MOS exposure remains after flare filtering 3990 X-ray sources detected, and almost all are new! About 92% have reliable multiwavelength counterparts HSC imaging published (Ni et al. 2019) Photo-z’s computed – forced photometry combing HSC, VOICE, Ni et al. in prep. VIDEO, and SERVS data
ELAIS-S1: 0.9 Ms, 26 observations 2.8 deg 2 0.8/0.7 Ms PN/MOS exposure remains after flare filtering 2800 X-ray sources detected (~2400 sources are new!) Waiting for the forced photometry combing data from DES, VIDEO, and SERVS Ni et al. in prep.
