Student Conduct and Community Standards Office • Resource for students/families/community members: – Oversee adjudication of alleged violations of Code of Student Conduct – Provide information and consultation regarding the conduct process – Respond to disciplinary records checks by internal and external agencies 4
Student Accountability • Begins with acceptance of enrollment and ends with the awarding of a degree • Students can be held accountable through Criminal/Civil Action and University Processes • Students are expected to speak for self/actions and have a right to an advisor • University behavioral expectations are outlined in the Code of Student Conduct • Sanctions are educational and cumulative – sometimes resulting in Separation from the University/Housing
