Career Pathways: Three Foci ​ Pathway Entry ​ Integrated Training ​ Career Progression ​ Some career pathway ​ Integrated training ensues through ​ Career progression includes programs provide preparatory authentic partnerships involving programming that enables education and training , employers, workforce training, learners/workers to advance in including bridge programs, adult education, postsecondary postsecondary education and designed to help students education, and other providers who training to secure multiple, move from entry level, offer industry-recognized often stacked credentials , including non-college credit, to credentials in high-demand including degrees, needed to credit-bearing postsecondary occupations leading to family- transition to and through coursework and employment supporting jobs and career careers offering financial opportunities stability | 4

Pathway entry is enhanced when these elements are implemented:  Engagement of adult education,  Contextualized basic skills postsecondary education, curriculum and instruction that postsecondary career and technical increases students’ preparation for education, workforce training, and further postsecondary education employers  Case management and navigational  Strategic outreach, recruitment, services , including academic and and intake of diverse adult learners, career advising, that helps retain due to in-depth knowledge of adults in education and training these student populations’  Job readiness and employment education and employment needs assistance services that help adults enter employment
