Wood View Intervention and Enrichment Coordinators As Intervention and Enrichment Coordinators (IEC) our role is to support teachers in using data to individualize instruction to best meet the needs of our students. We may work with students within the classroom, behind the scenes with the teachers in planning, or by pulling small groups of students. Katie Donivan Hi. I am so excited to start at Therese Prado Wood View this year. It is my Hello! I have been 12th year teaching. I’ve been all working in education for over but for the past 8 years I’ve 29 years. I have taught been a Reading Specialist and interventionist for reading and grades 1, 2, and some math. This year I get to 3. This will be my support teachers and students second year at Wood in reading. View. My focus is using building data to provide math interventions and enrichment.
Wood View Reading Recovery Coordinator As the Reading Recovery Coordinator, my role is to support teachers and students in all things early literacy. When we return to ‘traditional’ schooling, I will be working with individual first grade students in the Reading Recovery program. I will also be working with small groups of Kindergarten, first and second graders. During remote learning, I will mainly be working with small groups of students during their asynchronous time. Amy Paris Hello! I have been working in education for almost 20 years. I have been a Reading Specialist, an elementary administrator, and a high school teacher. This will be my second year at Wood View and my 14th year in Valley View. My goal is to build a love for reading and increase students’ reading strategies.

REMOTE LEARNING If you have not yet logged into your Infinite Campus account, please take a moment to log in. Here you can upload any registration documents, see important updates from the building and district, view your child’s progress report, see attendance reports, and pay any necessary fees.
REMOTE LEARNING On the first day of school you can expect to use Seesaw. A daily schedule will be posted daily by 8:55. On the schedule, you can see the zoom links necessary to engage in synchronous (live) learning with the teacher. You will also see assigned work for your child to engage in during asynchronous (independent) learning time. Each day your child will be engaged in learning activities from 9:05 to 2:30 with a scheduled lunch from 11:45 to 12:30.
REMOTE LEARNING During independent asynchronous work time, your child may be working in the Freckle and the Smarty Ants educational programs to help support their literacy and math skills.

Lessons are introduced and modeled by the teacher live during Zoom link. Students participate in lessons by sharing answers, asking questions, reading, etc. Small breakout sessions with the teacher or support staff.

Family Voice As we continually assess needs, we ask that you take our student needs survey. An email with links to both the English and Spanish versions was sent to your email. Throughout the year you might also see these different surveys as well, but we ask that you please fill out the STUDENT NEEDS survey as soon as possible so that we can try to meet those needs.
