  4. 2013 Bodega Colomé Torrontés • Appellation: Calchaquí Valley, Salta • Vine age: 30-60 year old vines • Aging: slow fermentation at low temperatures and aged 3 months in stainless steel tanks, without oak • Tasting notes: Very pale bright yellow. Pure, delicate, high-pitched perfume of rose petal and dusty brown spices. Brisk, tactile and quite dry but with an essentially supple texture--even a slightly glyceral character – to the flavors of grapefruit pith, lemon, flowers, spices and salty minerality.   6. 2013 Don Manuel Villafañe ReservaCabernet Sauvignon • Appellation: Legado, Maipú, Mendoza • Vineyard: 2,500 feet elevation; extremely rocky soil • Aging: Ageing in new and second use French oak barrels for 12 months • Tasting notes: Dark ruby red in color with an intense nose of rich cassis berries, vanilla, and pepper. Full bodied yet soft and rich, with more blackberry and chocolate flavors in the mouth. The finish is long and elegant with balanced sweet tannins • Ratings: Double Gold Medals in different international contests

The palate is medium-bodied with a grainy entry, with dark plum inflecting the black fruit. Very fresh and focused • Ratings: RP: 94

  8. 2012 Tikal Patriota • Blend: 60% Malbec, 40% Bonarda • Appellation: Mendoza • Aging: 70% French oak, 40% new; 30% in 2 nd use American oak • Tasting notes: A rich red, packed with concentrated flavors of blackberry, dark plum and mocha, featuring plenty of dark chocolate notes. Offers a ripe texture, with creamy accents and hints of savory herb on the long finish. • Ratings: WS: 91, #45 Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2014

  9. 2012 Luca Malbec • Appellation: Uco Valley • Vine Age: 47 years • Aging: 14 months 30% new French; 70% 2 nd use French barriques • Tasting notes: Very suave and polished, with ripe, pure flavors of blackberry, hoisin sauce and black pepper. Finely textured, this is packed with tar and roasted plum notes, showing plenty of licorice snap and dark chocolate accents on the powerful finish • Ratings: WS: 93, #19 Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2014
