Forest School at Langford Village school 1. Nursery to Year 2 will visit the school’s Woodlands every other week throughout the year. 2. The children will learn about nature through nature. 3. They will be part of a community and will learn about their own capabilities through using their senses, doing physical activities, thinking, problem solving, talking, being imaginative and creative. 4. They will take supported risks such as tree climbing. 5. Forest School will be planned and taught by the Forest School leader. 6. The learning will always be centred around the child and will be a mixture of adult and child initiated activities.
