What should I do if I’m worried? • Have a quick chat with the class teacher at the end of the day. She might have other work to do or parents to see, but can usually speak for a few minutes. • Use the home/school diary to make a wee note to the teacher about your concerns or opinions. • Ask for an appointment to speak to Mrs Leddy (Principal Teacher, P1-3) • Mention your concerns at Parents’ Night • In serious or confidential matters, make an appointment through the school office to speak to the Head Teacher.
How can you help the school? 1. Encourage your child in their learning. 2. Join our Parent Council 3. Volunteer to have a ‘disclosure Scotland check’ so you can be a parent helper. 4. Telephone the school if your child will be absent and let us know how long you think the absence may last.
