PARENT COFFEE MORNING – RE: VISION AND VALUES FRIDAY 24 TH JANUARY WELCOME!
SCHOOL’S CHRISTIAN VISION Our vision - ‘Let your light shine’ (Matthew 5:16) Originated from school motto: ‘Aim high, achieve success, find your sparkle and shine’. Church of England schools are assessed on the strength of their vision by an organisation called SIAMS. SIAMS – (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) Quote from SIAMS – ‘How effective is the school’s distinctive Christian vision, established and promoted by leadership at all levels, in enabling pupils and adults to flourish?’
“ Be a light for other people. Let your light shine and live so that they will see the good things you do and will praise your Father in heaven .” Matthew, 5:16. At Bierton, we aim high, achieve success, find our sparkle and shine!
HOW DO WE DELIVER OUR VISION? Through our Christian values – Love, Responsibility. Honesty, Respect, Cooperation By thinking of others – helping our community (Loneliness project) and thinking about the wider world (Raise a Smile charity) Focus is given to a value each half-term
