  1. PARENT COFFEE MORNING – RE: VISION AND VALUES FRIDAY 24 TH JANUARY WELCOME!

  2. SCHOOL’S CHRISTIAN VISION  Our vision - ‘Let your light shine’ (Matthew 5:16)  Originated from school motto: ‘Aim high, achieve success, find your sparkle and shine’.  Church of England schools are assessed on the strength of their vision by an organisation called SIAMS.  SIAMS – (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools)  Quote from SIAMS – ‘How effective is the school’s distinctive Christian vision, established and promoted by leadership at all levels, in enabling pupils and adults to flourish?’

  3. “ Be a light for other people. Let your light shine and live so that they will see the good things you do and will praise your Father in heaven .” Matthew, 5:16. At Bierton, we aim high, achieve success, find our sparkle and shine!

  4. HOW DO WE DELIVER OUR VISION?  Through our Christian values – Love, Responsibility. Honesty, Respect, Cooperation  By thinking of others – helping our community (Loneliness project) and thinking about the wider world (Raise a Smile charity)  Focus is given to a value each half-term

  5. GOOD DEEDS SLIPS  Children are encouraged to look for these values in others and complete a good deeds slip when they see it  Share values jars  Nominate your own child for a value?

  6. CHRISTIAN VALUES AWARDS  Teacher chooses from the nominations and completes a Christian Values certificate  These are celebrated in Friday assembly
